Final project for the Digital Workshop II course, aimed at using Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and 3D Max tools to address an environmental issue of significance.

We chose to base the project on the recent oil spill in the Peruvian Amazon, considering it a grave problem with no adequate measures taken to resolve it, resulting in the destruction of flora, fauna, and the ecosystem itself.

Duka is a machine designed to deepen into the affected areas of the Amazon River, filter contaminated water through its pores, which, thanks to surfactant substances, separate water from oil. Both substances will be stored in separate containers for later extraction using hoses. The filtered water will also be purified for drinking or irrigation.
